What Is LASIK Co-Management?

Co-management means Dr. Dodds O.D. and your LASIK surgeon work as a team to deliver the most effective care, from your first evaluation to your last follow-up.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Pre-op evaluation: We assess your eye health, corneal thickness, prescription stability, and lifestyle to determine if LASIK or PRK is right for you.

  • Referral to a surgeon: We coordinate with trusted local and regional surgeons based on your needs and comfort level.

  • Post-op care: After surgery, you’ll return to our office for healing checks, vision monitoring, and ongoing support, all in the environment you already know.

Am I a Good Candidate for LASIK?

Your refractive co-management consultation at Today's Vision 242 includes a full evaluation of:

  • Corneal shape and thickness

  • Prescription strength and stability

  • Eye dryness or irritation

  • Overall eye health and history

  • Lifestyle needs, vision goals, and expectations

If LASIK isn’t the best fit, we will discuss alternatives like PRK, high-performance glasses, or custom contact lenses that offer sharp, comfortable vision without surgery.
